Dragons are famous characters from old stories and myths that have been symbols of strength and power for centuries in various countries around the world. Legend of The Ice Dragon’s theme is heavily inspired by Asian myths and legends. The game is set against an animated backdrop that rotates between cloudy daylight and night sky lit by amazing aurora borealis. The Ice Dragon itself is casually chilling on the right side, while the Ice Crystal Charger is located on the left.
The high-paying symbols are easily recognizable due to the vibrant color templates. Playing on the 7x7 grid, players start to earn when they land 5 or more symbols adjacent to each other, vertically or horizontally. The goal of the game should always be to fill up the Ice Crystal Charger. A certain number of symbols, specifically 20,40,60, and 80, triggers various features of the game:
- Tail Lash - Turns all high-pay symbols into one type of high-pay symbol.
- Ice Scorch - Transform 3-6 random symbols into wilds.
- Destruction - Removes all low-pay symbols from the grid.
- Dragon Blast - Turn all symbols in Ice Frames into wilds.
Players shouldn’t worry when they miss the clusters, however, as the game offers a variety of ways in a random manner to increase your chances of winning in the next spins. These include:
- Hailstorm - 3 instances of the same symbol type are chosen randomly from the grid. They are destroyed or turned wild along with up to five symbols adjacent to them. The number of wild symbols can reach nine.
- Avalanche – An avalanche covers the grid, destroying all instances of 2 symbol types, leaving up to 7 wilds.
- Blizzard – Up to 5 symbols in the pattern are turned into wilds or destroyed.
