Playing the Floating Dragon slot is very similar to playing another Pragmatic Play title - Big Bass Bonanza. Both of these titles feature lucky fish money symbols with unique values. The base game takes place on a standard 5x3 gameplay grid with 10 paylines.
In Floating Dragon, the wild symbols are somewhat abnormal as they’re only collectable in one of the bonus games. The game, however, compensates for this fact with its Money symbol. This symbol can only appear on the middle reel and it will possess a random value of 1x to 20x your total bet. If you manage to cover the entirety of the middle reel in money symbols, you’ll unlock the Hold & Spin Bonus!
This feature will lock your acquired Money symbols in place making them sticky and you’ll be transported to a completely different reel board. On this new board, only money symbols can land and you’ll be given a respin health bar with three lives to start. In each spin, you’ll have a chance to get additional Money symbols or even the special Diamond symbol which can have a massive value of 100x to 4993x your stake! The second bonus feature of Floating Dragon is the progressive free spins bonus game, which is unlocked by the scatter symbol. Scatters are represented by the Dragon symbols and can land anywhere on the reels. Roshtein’s Take
Floating Dragon is pretty much just a Big Bass Bonanza reskin but that doesn’t mean it's not worth taking it for a spin. I’d say the Big Bass theme is more exciting but based on simple numbers, Floating Dragon should be considered an upgrade. The max win potential is more than doubled (5,000x) and there’s also the extra bonus game in a form of Hold & Spin round.
The collection feature during the free spins really elevates the game and makes it more suspenseful. Not to mention that Floating Dragon can certainly bring hefty amounts of cash to your casino account. I did hit that 5,000x the bet and ended up taking home $1.5 million.
