Betting Options and Bonus Features
RIP City is another old-school rubber hose-style slot game by Hacksaw Gaming. During your gameplay, you’ll be accompanied by two rivals - Ro$$ and Maxx. Both feature their own bonus game that you can unlock with special FS symbols.
In the base game though, you’ll be spinning on a 5x5 grid in the unforgiving back streets of the city. The game features ten regular paying symbols, which can reward anywhere between 0.20x and 20x your stake, depending on their tier. To receive any reward, you have to form winning combos on at least 1 out of 19 paylines.
To assist you in creating winning combinations, the game includes two Wild symbols. One regular and one special called the Wild Cat symbol. Both symbols step in for other regular pay symbols to create payouts, however, the Wild Cat symbol also expands. Whenever you see a special Wild Cat symbol on the screen, it will expand downwards.
Furthermore, the two Wilds also can interact and can potentially enhance each other. If a regular Wild symbol lands anywhere below the special Wild Cat symbol before it expands, it will turn into a multiplier of up to 200x that is applied to the whole expanded Wild Cat symbol!
All of these features are further enhanced in specially-themed bonus games. The first bonus game, called the Ro$$ Bonus, triggers when you manage to land 3 FS Scatters. This will award you with 10 free spins and a better chance to land special Wild Cat symbols.
You can extend the round by landing additional 3 FS scatters which will award 4 additional free spins. However, if you land 4 additional FS symbols during the Ro$$ Bonus, you’ll also unlock the Maxx Bonus at the end of the round. The Maxx Bonus can be triggered the same way regularly in the base game.
In this feature, you’ll also get 10 free spins but unlock the ability to activate reels. Anytime a Wild Cat symbol lands, it will activate its reel and guarantee to drop a Wild Cat symbol in one of its 5 positions. You can potentially activate up to all five reels and receive massive payouts!

RIP City definitely has one of the sharpest aesthetics seen in slots. The life is rough on the streets for Ross and Maxx but it can also be very rewarding.
The base game and the first bonus game are a little lackluster, everything is a little too random, but provider ensured the Maxx Bonus delivers on all fronts. The round is a treat with so much potential. The Wild Cat Feature spins are also really good. Although quite pricey and risky, they give you a chance to hit that full screen right off the bat, which is one of the main reasons RIP City offers such an immersive gaming experience.
