ABOUT
If Fist of Destruction was Hacksaw’s bare-knuckle brawl in a flaming dystopia, then Fighter Pit is the underground arcade tournament version - with all the same fists flying!
Hacksaw Gaming has recycled its earlier formula here, applying a fresh skin but keeping the core gameplay intact. That means if you liked Fist of Destruction, you’ll feel right at home throwing punches in Fighter Pit.
The setup is still a 5x4 reel set with 14 paylines, but this time it’s housed in a retro fighting-game cabinet, complete with metal-plated buttons, a neon directional pad, and pixel-punk aesthetics. You can choose your favorite fighters to display on the sides of the grid and jump straight into the bone-breaking action!
Betting Options and Bonus Features
Every spin in Fighter Pit is a potential knockout, thanks to the Wild Fist Reels. Fist symbols - colored Red or Green - can expand upwards into full Wild Reels if they become part of a win. If these fists "punch" through opposing Fighters or Wilds on their way up, they collect multipliers ranging from 2x all the way up to a massive 200x. These multipliers apply to any win the Wild Reel helps complete, and multiple Wild Fist Reels in the same win combine their multipliers.
The Showdown bonus round, triggered by landing 3 FS symbols, introduces Victory Levels for each team. Starting at Level 3+, teams earn Victory Points every time their colored Fist punches through an opponent’s symbol. Every 3 Points earned results in a respin with an Epic Drop, guaranteeing 3 to 5 Fist symbols depending on the team’s Victory Level. Land 4 FS scatters to enter the Ultimate Showdown, which starts the battle at Victory Level 4+.
Bonus Buys are also in full force here, letting you pay your way to more frequent brawls. For 100x your bet, you can buy into the Showdown, or go all-in with 250x for the Ultimate Showdown. Want Fists now? The Throwing Punches and Epic Drop spins (50x and 150x respectively) let you bring the heat early.
Roshtein’s Take
Fighter Pit is a reskin, for sure - but it’s a clean one. That retro arcade aesthetic looks slick on stream, and the Fist mechanics still pack a serious punch. TROOPS know how wild things can get when the multipliers stack and the Epic Drops start coming. Yeah, it’s not new-new, but it’s still top-tier chaos when it pops.
Fighter Pit might not break new ground, but it doesn’t need to. The Wild Fist Reel mechanic is already one of Hacksaw’s most satisfying features, and when it’s paired with a cool arcade aesthetic and the promise of 10,000x wins, it's hard not to get pulled in for some quality rounds.
