Chaos Crew Slot review

Chaos Crew is anything but a traditional video slot. Hacksaw Gaming has made a name for itself in the industry as the studio that is bringing simplicity, functionality, and innovation to the reels. This game incorporates all that and more.

Betting Options & Winning Potential

With a punk vibe, sharp and dark design, unique gameplay, impressive animations, and hefty max win of 10,000x, Chaos Crew is providing an experience that’s unforgettable in more ways than one. Players get to spin 5 reels with 15 fixed paylines for as little as £/€ 0.20 per spin but if you are a high roller, the bet can be set up to a £/€ 100 per spin.

Rated 5/5 on the volatility scale and holding an RTP of 96.3%, landing a significant win can be a trying process. The regular symbols on the paytable are not extremely rewarding with 12x the bet being the most you’ll bank if you line up 5 symbols of the premium kind. In the world of  Megaways, 15 paylines can be quite limiting but the bonus game is where the real chaos can break loose and where you can feel the full force of the winning potential.

The whole game revolves around Cranky The Cat and his sidekick Sketchy. The wild that holds a mystery multiplier is represented by Cranky and can add 2x, 3x, and 5x to the player’s win. Bonus round is triggered by landing 3 Free Spins symbols. Once activated, a player gets 3 spins which are reset back to the original number each time a winning symbol lands on the grid. So, unless you manage to connect 3 dead spins, this round could go on for quite some time.

All regular symbols disappear from the reels during this extra gameplay and only 4 special ones that carry multiplier values are available. Above each reel there is a multiplier collector and at the end of the round, these values are added together and used as a bet multiplier.

Roshtein’s Take

My main issue with the Chaos Crew slot is a pretty stagnant base game. That’s the only reason I can't put this release up there with the greats such as Wanted Dead or a Wild. The point of these games is to entertain people and in this case, you can go through a pretty long and uneventful gaming session before you get a big hit.

Unless you get to the bonus round, the chances are you won’t get to experience just how powerful these reels actually are. And let me tell you - they are POOOWEEERFUUUL! I got to feel their true might more than once with the bet multiplier going over 9,000x, bringing me breathtaking wins. Those were some of the best gambling sessions I ever had!!!
