Pragmatic Play Brings PowerNudge Back for 'Goblin Heist' Slot

Pragmatic Play, an award-winning iGaming software provider, is bringing back the PowerNudge mechanic in its latest slot ‘Goblin Heist’. Players get to follow treasure-hungry creatures on their mischievous quests through the fantasy kingdom for a chance to bag 4,000x the bet. 

‘Goblin Heist PowerNudge’ slot is taking place on a standard 5x3 grid with 10 paylines. Pretty modest setup but thanks to the PowerNudge mechanics, the base game play is far from modest. Actually, it can produce some hefty wins! 

Every time you end up with a winning combo on the grid, the reels containing at least one winning symbol will nudge for one position down, allowing new symbols to appear at the top. Needless to say, this creates chances for new wins and increased balance. And the best thing about it, the PowerNudge feature continues for as long as winning combos are being made on the grid.

When it comes to the paytable, players will encounter a blood-spattered skull, a tattered scroll, and a horn complete at the lower end. A goblin, a knight, a chest, and a dynamite in the shape of a goblin’s head are positioned at the top of the paytable and can bring players as much as 20x the bet. 

Activating Money Respin Feature

To activate a Money Respin feature, a player needs to land 6 or more Money aka Golden Lion symbols. During this bonus round, there are only blank and Mystery Money symbols on the grid. Above each reel on the grid, there are multipliers starting at 1x value. After every spin, Mystery Money symbols can reveal one of the following: ​

• Money value that can reach up to 50x the bet 
• Local Multiplier (1x, 2x, or 3x) that’s added to the Multiplier symbol above specific reel 
• Global Multiplier (1x, 2x, or 3x) that’s added to to the Multiplier symbols above all the reels 

The Respin features last as long as there are Mystery Money symbols on the grid that can be nudged down. Once they all leave the reels, the bonus round ends. However, if you want to skip all the hassle of the base game and go straight to the bonus round, you can do that for the cost of 100x the bet.  

Overall, it’s nice that Pragmatic Play went back to the PowerNudge mechanic. The first and the last slot with this feature was Rise of Giza PowerNudge, released back in August 2021, and Pragmatic should provide it with more opportunities so it can grow on players.
