ABOUT

Terminal Games has built a fast reputation for grime over its short run, and Kill Switch — the studio's fourth release — might be its filthiest yet. This one drops players into a rusted industrial hellscape of exposed pipes, green toxic haze and fire in the background, fronted by a pink-haired, rocket-launcher-toting maniac who looks like she's having the time of her life blowing the place apart. It's a 5x5 grid running 19 fixed paylines, a 96.01% RTP and high volatility, with a monstrous 50,000x max win hanging over it all. The hook is the rocket mechanic: enemies on the reels get blasted into wilds before wins are even counted, stacking multipliers as they go

By now the studio has a signature, and Kill Switch leans into it hard — loud, mean, and built for players who like their slots with teeth.

Kill Switch Slot Base Game

Betting Options and Bonus Features

The paytable does the familiar Terminal Games thing, base symbols kept lean so the features carry the weight. The metallic royals barely register at 0.10x–0.50x, the gun and grenade low-pays sit just above them, and even the top wolf symbol only reaches 5x for five. Raw symbol value was never the point of this one. The rockets are.

Here's how it works: before any win is evaluated, rockets fire at the Enemy symbols on the grid and turn them into wilds carrying a multiplier. A small Enemy adds 10x; a chunky 2×2 Enemy adds 100x, dealt across up to 4 rocket hits. When more than one of these wild multipliers lands on the same winning line, the values are added together before they're applied, so a line loaded with rocket wilds can erupt far beyond what the base symbols suggest. That's the engine the entire game is built on, and it's the studio's sharpest mechanic yet.

The free spins come in 3 tiers, triggered by 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols, each opening with 8 spins:

  • Bonus — 8 spins on the standard setup, rockets converting enemies into wilds as they land.
  • Super — 8 spins with more enemies in play; whenever they appear, at least two are on screen.
  • Epic — the top tier, reached via 5 Bonus symbols or the Mystery buy, guaranteeing at least four enemies whenever they show.

The detail that makes it cook: rocket multipliers carry over from previous hits during the bonus, Bonus symbols award extra spins, and any spin with enemies can pile on more rocket wilds. It snowballs fast once it gets going.

Sitting on top of all that are the optional modes. Ante lifts your bonus-trigger odds 5x for a bigger bet, while Max or Zero is the unhinged one, a single shot at the full 50,000x, or you walk away with absolutely nothing.

Bonus Buy Options

Roshtein’s Take

Four games in, and Terminal Games clearly knows exactly what it's doing, Kill Switch had me grinning before I'd even hit a decent win, just off the vibe. That pink-haired lunatic with the rocket launcher is my exact energy, and the mechanic delivers: watching rockets blast a row of enemies into stacked wilds right before the win counts is a proper rush.

The added-multiplier system means a single good line can absolutely erupt, and Epic is the dream chase with four-plus enemies every time they appear. It's savagely volatile, no lie, the base game will go quiet and test your patience. But Max or Zero is the reckless button I can't leave alone, and that 50,000x is no joke. The studio's filthiest and best yet.
