Wild Wild Banana inherits from its predecessor’s unique structure of 5 reels with the first two having 3 rows, while the last three having 4 rows. This layout can be further expanded, causing the paylines to go up to 576. This highly-volatile slot, the game has quite a hefty max win of 12,000x the bet and the default RTP of 96.10%.
Inspired by the amazing wildlife of a tropical island, this game comes with symbols such as flower, snake, toucan, and monkey. The highest paying-symbol will reward 4x the bet for a full line. Don’t worry though, there is another way to win in the base game thanks to the Money Collect Feature.
The Banana symbol acts as the Money Symbol, carrying either random values from 1x to 25x or the Mini (50x), Major (100x), or Mega (500x) jackpot. When you land 2 Wilds on the first 2 reels and money symbols on reel 3,4, and 5 to create a left-to-right payway, all the values on money symbols add up to a total payout.
To enter the bonus round, players have to get 2 Wilds on the first 2 reels and the bonus symbol on the third reel. Doing this will grant you 10 free spins with more Wilds and Money Symbols on the reels during the round.
The signature feature of Wild Wild Bananas is the Golden Money Symbol available solely in the bonus round. Once this symbol hits, its reel increases in size by 1 position. Wild Wild Bananas is not at all a lazy copy of Wild Wild Riches: it takes the original concept and arguably expands it to new heights. The way the Money Collect feature works in this game is very unique and entertaining, especially since it’s in the base game too. To me, the bonus is all about getting that retrigger since you can have extra spins on a bigger grid, but the slot can still pay decently well without it!
