This Megaways release is an expansion of the very popular Wild West Gold slot. It has an expanded 6x7 reel grid and features 117,649 paylines but without a cascading mechanic that’s usually included in the games with this engine.
The premium symbols will pay out between 0.4x and 1x your stake and you’ll need 3 - 6 matching symbols in order to collect a win. The Wild symbol can appear anywhere on reels 2 to 5, substituting for all the pay symbols in order to complete a win. There's no value to wilds, but some of them come with random multipliers of x2, x3, or x5. These multiply once more if there is more than one in your win.
A Bonus Round is triggered when you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols anywhere in view, awarding a scatter payout of 4x, 20x, 100x, or 500x your stake upfront, respectively. No matter how many scatter symbols you land on the reels, you will earn 7 free spins, and all wilds will come with attached multipliers as described above. Additionally, the multiplier wilds stick to the grid for the remainder of the bonus round, and their size is determined based on how many positions are present on the dynamic reels.
You can extend your free spins round by landing gold star overlay icons. These get collected automatically and each overlay icon will add an extra spin to your free spins counter. The game isn’t really unique in any way but the features that it has are executed really well. Megaways titles, especially when applied to a hit game, are always going to elevate the original gameplay and attract players. Having bonus buy as an option is always a nice addition and I certainly enjoy it very much.
