ABOUT
Pragmatic Play has taken Sugar Twist 1000 and handed it the one upgrade that actually moves the needle: a 98% RTP. That's the whole pitch of this Enhanced edition, and it's a big one — most slots sit around 96%, and plenty of feature buys quietly claw back more, so a return this high is worth stopping for.
Underneath the new number, the game is unchanged. You're on a 7x7 grid where clusters of five or more connected sweets pay, symbols tumble after every win, and multiplier spots build on the board as the action repeats. High volatility and a 25,000x max win keep the danger real. Same sugar rush, better odds.

Betting Options and Bonus Features
A quick word on the look, because Pragmatic goes all-in on the sweet tooth. The 7x7 grid is mounted on the side of a pastel ice-cream van, parked under candyfloss clouds with pink icing oozing over the top of the reels. The symbols are glossy confectionery, gummy bears in orange, red and pink, jelly beans, lollipops, heart sweets and green stars, and the scatter is a swirl of rainbow soft-serve you couldn't miss if you tried. It's bright, bouncy and deliberately disarming, which is funny given how spiky the maths underneath actually is.
Onto the mechanics. The game pays in clusters, 5or more matching sweets connected horizontally or vertically, and every winning combination triggers the tumble, clearing the winners and dropping fresh symbols in to chain more wins from a single spin.
The real story is the Multiplier Spots. Every time a symbol explodes, it tags its position on the grid. Let a symbol blow up on that same spot a second time and a multiplier latches on, opening at x2 and doubling with each repeat hit, x4, x8, x16 and onward to a frankly absurd x1,024. Any win landing on a marked spot takes that multiplier, and multiple multipliers in one win stack together. In the base game these clear once the tumbling stops.
Then the Free Spins flip the whole thing on its head. Land 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters for 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins, and now the marked spots and their multipliers don't reset, they stay locked for the entire round and keep doubling across every spin. The longer you survive, the more of the grid turns into a multiplier minefield. More scatters during the round top up the spin count on the same scale.
No patience? Two buys get you straight in:
- Free Spins (100x) — drops you into the standard round.
- Super Free Spins (500x) — same round, but with x2 multipliers already sitting on every spot from spin one.
And here's the kicker: both buys run at the same 98% RTP as the base game. No stealth tax for buying in; which, frankly, is how it should always be.

Roshtein’s Take
Let’s be honest, on the surface this is just another sugar-themed Pragmatic slot, and I've spun a hundred of those. But that 98% RTP is the real deal, and the fact it holds across both buys is rarer than people realise. That alone makes the Enhanced edition the only version worth touching. The multiplier-spot system is the bit I actually love, though, watching the grid fill with doubling multipliers during a long free spins run is genuinely tense, and when a big cluster lands on a stacked spot, the number can get silly fast.
It's high volatility, so it'll absolutely test your patience between hits, no sugar-coating that. Super Free Spins is where I'd put my money. Sweet wrapper, sharp teeth. I'm on board.
