Wild is there to make creating of the winning combos easier as it can replace any symbol bar Scatter and 2 special symbols - Shelby Betting Shop and By The Order of The Peaky Blinders. When a Shelby Betting Shop lands on the reel 5 (without 2 Scatters on other reels), it triggers a feature where cash prizes get sent to all the character symbols on the grid at that moment.
The By The Order of Peaky Blinders symbol can appear on the reel 5 as well. When that happens (without 2 Scatters on the other reels), all Wilds and character symbols stay in place while the rest of the grid respins. After the respin, all character symbols and Wilds are transformed into one character symbol and the winning combos are paid out.
Scatter aka Bonus symbol appears on the reels 1 and 3 but to trigger one of 2 available bonus rounds, it needs to hit in combo with one of the special symbols. If it happens with the Shelby Betting Shop symbol, a player is awarded 8 free spins. During this bonus round, the probability of triggering the Shelby Betting Shop feature is bigger and once it occurs, it plays out just like in the base game.
If a Scatter lands in combination with By The Order of Peaky Blinder symbol, the player is awarded 10 free spins. Triggering the feature connected to this special symbol is more probable which when activated in the bonus round, behaves pretty much the same as in the base game of the slot.

While the Peaky Blinders slot is visually impressive, there is no doubt Pragmatic could have done a better job with this one. Two special features in the base game are good in concept and execution but I expected more for the bonus rounds. Don’t get me wrong, I got some nice wins spinning this one but the free spins rounds are simply underwhelming.
