The stunning visuals, featuring a sandy beach and clear blue water blanketed in thick green moss, create an uncharted look where treasures lurk beneath the thick overgrowth.
Bermuda Riches comes with Cluster pays and Tumble mechanics, where winnings of at least five matching symbols disappear, creating space for new ones to drop. Pressing the spin button will fill the screen with 49 gems and artifacts of an age far gone whose value only increases with time. Each symbol pays a certain amount, though none can match the Ring at 150x the bet for a cluster of 15+.
Rooting around in the game’s noggins turns up a highly volatile math model, rated at a 4.5 out of 5 by the developer. Although unpredictable, Bermuda Riches might be for players who are more into the thrill of the unknown. The RTP is 96.39%, although it can go up to 96.40% when players purchase the bonus round at 100x the stake. All in all, the favorable math model, when combined with the many features, creates a smooth journey towards the summit jackpot of 5,000x the bet.
Bermuda Riches has multiple features, including Cursed Wilds, Money Collect, and the standard Free Spins. When Wilds drop on the screen, they have a random chance to transform into Cursed Wilds, containing a multiplier of 2x or adding extra wilds to the grid.
Like the Big Bass series, Bermuda Riches integrates a Money Symbol feature for instant cash rewards. Money Symbols can randomly drop, and players can claim these monetary rewards by landing a Collect Symbol simultaneously. Should more than one Collect Symbol land, they activate separately, effectively doubling, tripling, or quadrupling the collected amount. Furthermore, there are different effects to Collect symbols:

The base game rules apply to the bonus event, with one exception being that landed Money Symbols don’t get collected by the Collect symbols. Instead of that, they go into a Bonus Pot. With its wild looks, primitive islands, and wavy-blue waters, Bermuda Riches captures the essence of the tropical archipelago with its graphical design. The gameplay is decent, with plenty of Money Collecting to play around with in the base game and free spins in the bonus round.
One problem with the game, which is more troublesome than it should be, is the end of the Free Spins. The game carries some potential, but what is the point if all your hard-earned cash can be taken away at the end of the bonus round? The game contradicts itself by making Money Collecting the focal point and then scraping it all off regardless, which turns many people, including me, away from playing. Bermuda Riches may be a hit to some, but I won’t bother going back any time soon.
