ABOUT

Fortune of Giza is another slot that takes plenty of inspiration from Egyptian gods due to their mythical qualities that are so popular among slot players. Made by Pragmatic Play, even though not the most original, Fortune of Giza still offers fun times with its sticky multiplier wilds.

Betting Options and Bonus Features

Located on top of a pyramid in the majestic Egyptian desert, Fortune of Giza's 3x5 reels hold 20 paylines. As expected from an Egypt-inspired slot, the 4 highest paying symbols are colorful illustrations of Egyptian gods with the golden one rewarding a hefty 37.5x the bet for the maximum combination. Other stats are in line with most modern video slots, namely a 96.51% RTP, high volatility and 6,750 max win.

Watch out for the red orb symbols because not only are they wilds, they also carry a multiplier of 2x or 3x. Another special symbol is the scatter that comes in the shape of a blue pyramid: 3+ scatters will take you to the bonus game along with an immediate 5x reward. Before the round starts, 9 mini reels will spin to give players 1 to 3 free spins each.

The free spins feature plays out fairly close to the base game. The only difference here is that every wild landing on the reels will become sticky for the rest of the round. The multipliers on them will also remain the same to assist players in finding big wins. Unfortunately, no scatter symbol is present in the free spins bonus round, which means that it cannot be retriggered.

Roshtein's Take

Fortune of Giza is a very simple online slot that has decent winning potential, but compared to all the other unique titles on the market, it doesn't hold up very well. First of all, the exploration and execution of the Egyptian gods theme is average at best. When you add that to the fact that the gameplay is identical to Dog House, this is frankly a bit of a disappointing release.

Don't get me wrong, if you haven't played many slots, Fortune of Giza is perfectly respectable. The multiplier wild symbols will make plenty of room for creating huge winning combinations, especially during the bonus round. But unless you have a thing for Egyptian gods, Dog House is an identical slot with cuter visuals.
