Barn Festival is an extremely volatile tumbling slot by Pragmatic Play. The game is set on a 6x5 gameplay grid and comes with 9 different paying symbols. In order to win, all you need to do is collect 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels. Depending on what symbol you match, you’ll get a reward of anywhere between 0.25x to 50x your stake.
As mentioned before, Barn Festival is a tumbling slot. This means that whenever you manage to land a winning combination, the winning symbols disappear from the reels and make space for new ones to fall from above. If the new symbols continue to match into winning paylines, the same effect will repeat indefinitely.
Aside from paying symbols, the game also features a special Money Symbol. It can appear on all reels and has a predetermined multiplier value of 1x to 500x. Besides multiplying your winning combinations, it also triggers two bonus features. If you land exactly 3 Money symbols on the initial spin (before any tumbles), you’ll trigger a respin. The three money symbols will be added together and set on the side. The game will then initiate a respin, which will keep respinning until at least one winning combination is achieved, guaranteeing you a cash prize.
Furthermore, if you manage to land 4 or more money symbols, including through multiple tumbles, you’ll trigger a different Money Respin Feature. This is essentially the free spins bonus game of Barn festival.
You’ll begin on a completely new 4x5 grid where your money symbols have become sticky. All base game symbols besides the Money symbol are removed and you unlock a completely new set of features. You start with 3 respins, that reset back to 3 any time you land ANY symbol. The new bonus round symbols are:
- Add Value Symbol - adds a random value on top of your money symbols.
- Multiply Symbol - boosts 2 to 5 random money symbols with a random multiplier of 2x to 5x.
- Collect Symbol - collects the multiplier value of all of your money symbols.
- Unlock Symbol - unlocks one extra reel (up to 6x5 grid).
Add, multiply, and collect symbols moreover have a persistent version. These come in golden variations of that symbol and the key difference is that they trigger their effect with each respin for the entirety of the free spins bonus round.
The Money Respin feature ends when you either run out of respins, reach the max win of 20,000x, or fill the entire 6x5 with symbols. If the latter situation happens though you’ll get a 500x bonus to your payout.
Finally, Pragmatic Play also offers a bonus buy option in this title. You can purchase it for 100x the stake. Doing so will spin your reels and guarantee you at least 4 or more money symbols. Consequently triggering the Money Respin Feature.

Barn Festival is a little bit of a Frankenstein's monster. It has a sprinkle of everything but in a really, really good way. Little bit of Hot Fiesta, touch of Chili Heat Megaways, graphics of Fruit Party 2, and a bonus game reminiscent of Money Train 2. If you’ve seen my streams, you know how much of a Money Train 2 fan I am. Combined with the 20,000x max win, we might be looking at the contender for the game of the year folks.
