NextGen Gaming was founded by Tony McAuslan in North Sydney (Australia). As the company expanded, the studio opened headquarters in London and Stockholm. In 2011, NextGen was acquired by NYX Interactive which has been acquired by Scientific Gaming in 2018.
Differently from many other software providers, NextGen Gaming doesn't produce any other type of casino games other than slots. And in the slots sphere, the studio was able to establish itself as a prominent and high-quality studio. From the very start, company's goal was to "attract, entertain, and retain" and they have been able to do that. Their gaming portfolio has been growing constantly and their work has been acknowledged by the industry over the years with many rewards.
