The devs have set up a special Qatar 2022 page where all members of the community can make their guesses on the daily World Cup matches and collect points. It’s important to say that in order to join the guessing game, you need to have a registered account on Stake.com. The points are going to be collected for the entire duration of this football championship. Once the World Cup ends, the top 50 players with the most points collected are going to get awards.
Game Setup & The Points System
Each day, the matches being played that day are shown on the World Cup page of the website. You can place a guess on one of the countries playing the match to be a winner or on a result to be a draw. The odds are also shown beside the countries names and are important as they are directly related to the number of points a player gets if they make a correct guess.
For example, in the match between Ecuador and Qatar, the first team has the odds 2.25, the other teams has the odds 3.40 while the draw option comes with 3.20 odds. If your guess is a draw and it ends up being a correct one, you will be rewarded with 320 points (the odds x 100 = the number of points). Also, if there are 3 or more matches played in one day and you manage to guess the correct result for all of them, your points will be doubled. The same rule of doubling the points applies for semi-final and final matches.
The Rewards
Once the World Cup 2022 in Qatar ends, the winners of the Guessing Game will be announced. The rewards go to the top 50 guessers with the most points! Each of the winners will get a part of the $100,000 prize pool.
1st Place: $25,000
2nd Place: $15,000
3rd Place: $10,000
4th Place: $4,000
5th Place: $2,000
Players ranked from 6th to 50th place will each get $1,000. The rewards will be sent to the winning players' Stake.com accounts.
