Rocky Vegas is a wild game, even though ironically doesn’t have any Wild symbols. When it comes to special symbols, the Scatter represented as a rock with a bonus sign is the one with the greatest power. When 3 of them land together, this activates the Mega Hold and Spin feature.
Once activated, the feature replaces the reel setup of the base game with a new 10x10 grid, containing only blue, green, yellow, pink, and red rock symbols or blank spaces.
What type of rocks will appear depends on the number of triggering Scatters:
- 3 Scatters - all rocks appear
- 4 Scatters - blue rocks with the lowest value are removed
- 5 Scatters - green and blue rocks are removed
The bonus round starts with 3 respins and resets every time when rocks land, staying locked in place. Clusters of 2x2 or 3x3 matching rock symbols not only merge to create create a large rock but also gain a random multiplier of 5x to 10x or 35x to 100x respectively.
In addition, rock symbols can land with a little key icon attached on top of them. These key icons are collected on a trail beside the grid. At set intervals, keys unlock chests to award a random multiplier of up to 500x to one of the rocks, a cash prize of up to 500x the bet, 4 to 10 keys added to the trail, a random general multiplier of up to 100x or one respin.
Those who make it to the end of the trial and hit Mystery Multiplier get a random number from 2x to 100x - it is collected and multiplied by the general multiplier gotten so far. The end of a trial is not the end of the bonus game. When the trail is finished, it starts from the beginning until the bonus feature ends when there are no more respins or the screen is filled by rock symbols.
